Okay, third times a charm right? Stephanie said either Wed or Thurs. I
know Wed is bad for a few people so we're gonna try again for Thursday
Feb. 28th at 7pm. In the meantime, if someone wants to volunteer to
host the next book club, please let me know.
If you want to host and have a book in mind, send it to me with a
list of dates that work for you and we can do a poll. I would say lets
aim for a week or two after Easter (3/31). If you don't have a book but
a list of books, send those to me as well and we can do a vote.
Sincerely,
Anjanette

Need to give her a prize!!!
Did you know Stephanie is the only book club member to never miss a meeting? I'll have to think of a prize!
Oh how time flies! Just a reminder Stephanie graciously volunteered to
have book club at her house this time. Please let her know if you are
NOT coming. If she doesn't hear from you, we'll assume you are coming
on Thursday to talk about The Light Between Oceans.
I have emailed the address and phone number to you so check your email.
The date picked didn't work for me so I won't be there but please discuss who is hosting next time, when they want to host and what book. Whoever volunteers can either send me a book title and author OR a list that we can vote on. Either way works....
Have fun everyone!
Sincerely,
Anjanette

Jan 2013 Meeting Date
I must have forgotten to announce the date for next book club is
Thursday Jan 24th. I probably won't be there that night but it will be
at Stephanie's house. I will send the details/reminder in January. The
book is The Light Between Oceans by ML Stedman so put it on your
Christmas lists!

January Book and Meeting Date
The Light Between Oceans by ML Stedman won the poll for book selection. The meeting date (which only has 8 votes) is a tie for Jan 17th and Jan 24th so I'm leaving the poll open until Monday Nov. 12th....

The poll for the Jan book is still open until Saturday. I think the about 3 folks who haven't voted yet.
Here is the poll for the January Meeting date: http://doodle.com/ 56hwfvbnbginh363

Book Selection Poll for next meeting
We decided to randomly pick five books from the last month or two NY Times Bestsellers list and vote:
This is How You Lose Her by Junot Diaz
The Time Keeper by Mitch Albom
The Light Between Oceans by ML Stedman
The Casual Vacancy by JK Rowling
Where'd You Go, Bernadette? by Maria Semple
Vote here - Open until November 4th so you have plenty of time to decide!
Note: This list was not easy to make since I tried to avoid books some of you have already read and I did not want to pick up a book that is in the middle of a series.
